The Opportunity:

We’re partnering with a leading government programme to find an experienced Geospatial Product Owner to help shape and deliver next-gen digital mapping and location-based services.

You’ll drive the product roadmap, translate stakeholder needs into actionable user stories and work closely with dev teams and geospatial experts to bring high-impact solutions to life.

As a Geospatial Product Owner, you’ll play a key role in driving the strategy, prioritisation and delivery of geospatial solutions that meet user needs across a complex digital landscape.

You’ll be acting as the bridge between stakeholders, development teams and end-users to ensure the successful delivery of high-value geospatial capabilities.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven Product Owner experience in geospatial or GIS domains
• Strong knowledge of tools like MapLibre, Esri and CesiumJS or similar technologies
• Agile mind-set with excellent communication and stakeholder skills

Role and Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the geospatial product roadmap and backlog.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate closely with technical teams including developers, analysts and data engineers.
• Ensure that geospatial products are aligned with user needs, business goals and wider digital strategies.
• Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
• Prioritise features and tasks to ensure timely delivery and measurable value.

Security Clearance: Candidates must be eligible to pass Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks
