Ever since we started in 2005, ISR Recruitment has proudly stood amongst the heart of the UK’s technology recruitment landscape. What started out as a focused ambition to create an exceptional, people-first recruitment company, centred on partnering with clients and candidates to listen and understand their needs, whilst solving problems and providing solutions; has developed into a respected and trusted name across the IT & Digital, Telecoms and Transport Technology sectors. We’re not the biggest, nor do we want to be the biggest. We believe our model works for us and our ambition to be a partner of choice that is trusted and valued.

This year, we’re thrilled to be celebrating 20 incredible years in business and we’re reflecting on what has made our journey so meaningful.

From day one, our mission has been clear: to build a recruitment company that’s personal, honest and collaborative - where integrity is paramount and relationships last. Over the last two decades, we’ve had the privilege of helping some of the UK’s most forward-thinking organisations find the talent they need to grow, innovate and lead the way in their respective sectors.

We’ve also helped countless candidates take the next step in their careers - many of whom we’ve had the joy of supporting more than once throughout their professional journeys and many others that have become our best testimonials for what we do and have become trusted clients.

Powered by experience, driven by values
Currently we have over 80 years of combined technology recruitment experience within our team of eight full-time Consultants, we’ve seen the sector evolve at lightning pace.

In terms of longevity, our current team of Consultants have an average tenure of 9 years with ISR, together with 90% of our current turnover coming from clients we have partnered with for on average 13 years and our third-party suppliers like IT Support, Accountancy, Banking and Recruitment Software have been in place for an average of 12 years. We see this as a reflection of our valued partnership-model that allows us to do what we do best, to serve our community of candidates and clients in the best manner possible.

From the early days of mainframes and the growth of online services, though to website development and the emergence of hosting and data-centres. Along with the rise of cloud computing and success of digital transformation and onto the modern day with AI-driven applications and cloud-native ecosystems, ISR have remained agile and approachable, informed and knowledgeable, whilst staying people-focused in all that we do.

And we’re proud to state that what’s kept our compass steady throughout this journey has been our core values - a commitment to transparency, clarity and genuine care. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all recruitment. Every engagement is tailored, personal and rooted in listening before acting.

And as the technology landscape continues to shift faster than ever before, one thing has always stayed constant for us: people power progress and we’re proud to be in the business of connecting them.
